Facility Improvments for 2012
Orangeville Location
-
We have updated the receiving system (for products shipped to us) to maintain a high level of quality fertilizer products and improve unloading efficiency.
-
Update the conditioner and outside loading auger for the tower, to enable faster loading. We have also enlarged the tower weigh scale to provide quicker loading time.
-
We are in the midst of constructing four 20 tonne load out bins that will, with advanced planning, enable us to reduce grower wait time for pickup and delivery. To be completed by March 31st.
Redickville Location
-
Our Redickville Office will undergo renovation to improve customer service and atmosphere. To be completed by end of March.
Stayner Location
-
We are presently completing Phase II of the storage expansion project that began in 2011. By doing this we will increase storage capacity by an additional 35%.

Our blender and scale have grown from 4 to 8 tons in capacity. The addition of a second leg will also help to speed up loading and unloading of product.

We have purchased a new 8204 Terragator Airflow. This unit, a second for the location, will enhance serviceability (speed and efficiency) to our customer base.

Our fleet will also include two new Rayman tenders to help support the business during the busy season.
Holmes Agro continues to make it a major priority to reinvest in the business to continue to improve both our people and properties in a way that adds value to both our operation and those of our producers.
