Travis grew up on a family dairy farm in Northumberland County. Upon selling the quota in 2002, his family got into cash crops and variety trials with various seed companies. Travis graduated from the University of Guelph in the spring of 2012 with a Bachelor of Science in Agriculture, majoring in Crop Science. Coupled with his industry experience in the Western provinces, Travis has become experienced in conventional cash crop production such as canola, small grains, corn and soybeans. Travis joined the Holmes Agro team upon graduation and has been involved with the operation of custom application equipment, field scouting, GPS technology, as well as soil sampling.
